Ayurveda & Spa

The art of restoring

Kerala is the birthplace of Ayurveda. You're staying in its garden.

Ayurveda here isn't a spa menu bolted onto a holiday — it's a five-thousand-year-old practice from the villages around us. We bring experienced practitioners to the house, set the pavilion with warm oils and fresh herbs, and let the garden do the rest.

Signature Treatments

Shirodhara &
Abhyanga

Shirodhara — a slow, warm stream of herb-infused oil poured across the brow from a swinging brass vessel — is Kerala's most famous ritual of deep rest. Abhyanga, the classical four-hand warm-oil massage, works the whole body in long rhythmic strokes.

Practice

Yoga in
the Garden

Morning practice unrolls in the open pavilion or on the lawn — sun salutations as the actual sun comes up over the palms. Sessions are private, paced to you, and followed shamelessly by breakfast.

Writers', artists' and yoga retreats visit the house through the year; ask us about hosting your own.

The Bathing Ritual

Bathe under
the sky

After your treatment, rinse the oil away the Kerala way — in an open-air stone shower with palms overhead, or a long soak in the tub with the garden at the window. Herbal teas and quiet follow.

“Ayurveda's first purpose is not to cure — it is to protect the wellbeing of the well. Rest, oil, warmth, rhythm: the house keeps the old prescription.”
